Structure and Order

The Montessori classroom reflects order and structure in various ways. First the child knows where to find the materials that he wants to work with. Every piece of equipment has a place and everything is in its place.

In Montessori environment the children are free to move around the classroom at will and are free to choose their own activities. They do not have to participate in a group activity or to share of themselves with theirs when they are not prepared to do so.
